Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will work closely with our physical therapists to assist in providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy is a plus
- Familiarity with acute care hospital environment is desirable
Skills:
- Excellent patient service skills with a caring and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
